Frequently Asked Questions About Our Upholstery Cleaning Services

Is it worth it to clean my upholstery?

Cleaning results are typically quite good and professional service tends to be considerably less expensive than replacement.

How do you clean the upholstery?

We primarily steam clean but do offer dry clean methods for materials that are moisture sensitive.

Is it going to be wet? When can I sit on my upholstery?

The upholstery will be lightly damp after service but can typically be sat on after about 2-4 hours. In extreme situations where furniture needs deep cleaning it could take longer to dry completely. It's suggested that clients turn on overhead fans for fastest drying time.

Can you remove bleach or red stains?

Bleach tends to cause a permanent stain that cannot be removed. Red stains however can be more forgiving. Though some drinks have red dyes that may be permanent like bleach, others have less sticking power where it's possible they could be rinsed out as part of the cleaning or with specialized products.

What do you do about pet stains?

We can thoroughly flush out accident areas with our steam cleaning method. Typically when the accident area is cleaned, the stain will go with it. If the cushion is also affected and not just the outside fabric, we do offer specialized services to clean the inside cushion as well for more specialized treatment.

Are pillows additional?

The pillows on the couch (back cushion, seat cushion) are included in all cleanings. Decorative throw pillows are not included but can be quoted by a technician during your consultation.

How long does it take to clean?

Most jobs can be done in about an hour, give or take about 20 minutes depending on difficulty.

Do you clean mattresses?

Yes, we do clean mattresses and other upholstery items besides sofas.
